Socialist Scapegoats

What Sanders supporters might want to start discussing as the Democratic National Committee begins cracking down on dissent is what they plan to do as the one target of ill will shared by conservatives, liberals and fascists in the US. While the fascists (Christian, Islamic and Zionist) have problems with each other, as well as with conservatives and liberals, it is the socialists who have the least power and influence. This, naturally, makes them the perfect scapegoat in the total chaos to come.

Reality of Infantility

After the eight years of B-acting in the Oval Office by the third-rate, Hollywood blacklisting FBI tout, one might have thought future generations would develop an immunity to celebrity worship in politics. Sadly, thirty years later, political endorsements and social pronouncements by Hollywood stars and Madison Avenue starlets are still gauges of mass consciousness and political illiteracy.

Unfortunately, the culprits of social media and Hollywood hype combined have created a vast wallowing in the banal, where vapid luminaries such as Naomi Klein pose for Vogue photo-ops alongside insipid pretty boys such as Leonardo DiCaprio. Why we should care what they think about political challenges, let alone do about them, is beyond me, but that is the reality of infantility.

Blind Faith

As the new nuclear boondoggle begins, I envision a personal reactor prototype roll-out that makes use of the popularity of the film Back to the Future, by featuring a home-use nuclear power reactor that fits in the trunk of a plutonium-fueled vehicle, which can be used to feed the electrical grid when parked in the garage at home.

This Breakthrough Clean Energy innovation would create spin-off industries such as spent fuel rod recycling drop-off centers, perhaps at Wal-Mart, where consumers could spend Superfund credits issued by the Department of Energy as a win-win public-private collaboration.

This would truly be an historic, revolutionary and visionary enterprise empowering consumers as personal generators saving the planet one radioactive rod at a time.

For Alaska Natives and American Indians, it's been a long journey. As the Katie John family learned, the only way to do that is to fight back.

Reckless Innovation

Changing the world without any indication of what is to be changed is not a mission statement but a threat.
